We took Josh in for an MRI on his kidneys this past week. He’s been suffering with blood in the urine and we needed to find out why this has been happening. The MRI showed that Josh had acute renal failure while he was in the hospital in Sacramento and we were not aware of it. Normally, a person would only have 24 hours to live when he goes into acute renal failure; but again “God!” So, there was actually another possibility of death which we were graciously unaware of while Josh was in UC Davis. We are waiting to get the results of the damage on his kidneys and we’ll update you when we receive that information.

This morning Josh flew to Louisiana with us so he could visit with his grandpa, his aunts and his cousins. They have been looking forward to the opportunity to love on this young man and sit and talk with him in person. He has also been looking forward to spending time with each one of them.

This week I will be preaching a Missions Conference at Central Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, LA for Dr. B.G. Buchanan. Bro. Buchanan was the man under whom I was called to preach. Central Baptist Church was the church where I served before the Lord brought me up north to attend Bible College and then pastor Northwest Bible Baptist Church in Illinois. I look forward to spending time with Bro. Buchanan and his people whom I love very dearly.

Josh is making progress, albeit slowly. Please continue to pray for him. We thank you for your love, concern and especially your prayers for our family.
