Northwest Bible Baptist Missions

Our missions board sends missionaries out of Northwest Bible Baptist Church to other countries to bring the gospel to people who have never heard about Jesus Christ.

Northwest Baptist Academy

Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade through Twelfth Grade. This school was started specifically for the members of Northwest Bible Baptist Church.

Spanish Church

As the Elgin Hispanic population grows, our Spanish ministry has grown to minister to our city and surrounding communities.

Bus Routes

The bus ministry is a tool to reach families in Elgin and the surrounding communities. Twenty-one buses currently pick up children, teens, and adults in 23 area towns and cities.

Soulwinning Clubs

The following clubs meet together for organized soulwinning: Fisherman's Club, Crusader's Club, Friday Morning Ladies', Ladies' Sowing Circle, and Thursday Night Men's Soulwinning.

Sunday School & Bible Study Groups

Sunday School classes are the primary Bible teaching channels for Northwest. In additon to learning the Bible, each class enjoys occasional social & recreational activities so members can get to know and enjoy each other on a more personal basis.

King's Kids

The heart of the King's Kids program is Scripture memorization, with award ribbons and recognition for varying levels of achievement. With King's Kids, some children have committed hundreds of Bible verses to memory.

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones opens the door to young girls' creativity and provides them with good, wholesome things to do that are fun as well as instructive and fulfilling.

Teen Department

We don't just have a youth group...we have a youth program. Every week is filled with Teen Bible Study, CIA Club, In-Teens, and Crusader's Soulwinning Club. Do not miss the activities, summer camp, and our annual Youth Conference, either.

Addictions Ministry

A productive and fulfilled Christian life is possible through Biblical principles. Our addictions ministry, Reformers Unanimous, helps the enslaved break their addictions to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, illicit sex, pornography, and other bonds of sin.

Nursing Homes

Every week, elderly folks in 12 Homes attend services conducted by lay preachers, families, teens, young children, and Bible college students. A typical service might include old-fashioned singing, special music, testimonies, Bible stories, and preaching.

Nurseries

The nurseries are divided by age: Newborn to 1 year old, 1-2 years old, 2-3 years old, and 3-4 years old. Each of these nurseries is open for your kids during every service at Northwest, including special events such as conferences and weddings.

Choirs & Singing Groups

The music at Northwest is revivalistic and lively, not unlike what you would hear in an old-fashioned camp meeting. There is a large variety of small groups and large choirs that sing during the services and special concerts.

Orchestra

The orchestra plays along with the choir specials and congregational singing. They also perform multiple concerts at Northwest and play for area parades.
